Welcome to a blog of a woman who cannot hide her image of being a Christian. Take that fact from me, and I’ll be a futile being. My confidence is in Christ, and I don’t have to hide that. 🙂
ABOUT THE BLOGGER
I’m KrizSummer, a sinner saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ alone. A child of God who happens to be a Medical Student.
Writing is my favorite means of communicating. I’m not that much talkative in person, and writing has been my main means of expressing what I feel because in it, I can have all the confidence I want.
Reading is my life. Aside from my medical books, believe it or not, I love Christian theology. Although Science can give me facts, but the Bible tells me more than what meets the eye. Without facts, Science is dead, but the Word of God prevails even if the world doesn’t testify about it.
Traveling has been my destiny. I’ve stayed in many places before and honestly, I don’t know where to settle down. Maybe the mountains will do. 🙂 (And in lined with my love for outdoors, visit the new page on this blog where I feature some of my Unforgettable Shots (Updated last July 4, 2014).
Classical and Baroque Music are my favorite music genre. 🙂 I’m a fan of Johann Sebastian Bach, and I learned the ‘SDG (Soli Deo Gloria = To the Glory of God alone)’ slogan from him. He has written those initials in his every musical piece. Yes, he is a Christian.
“I play the notes as they are written but it is God who makes the music.” -Johann Sebastian Bach
Coffee and tea are my best friends. They are cups of joy in the morning or lunch or afternoon or dinner or midnight or the other in-betweens. 🙂 There’s no rule when to drink it anyway.
I’m an old school in so many ways. 🙂 My phone doesn’t have any game apps and I don’t even use it for some internet purposes. I don’t want distractions to be that much close to me. Haha. I love it, too when people give me letters on my birthday. It’s a thousand times more thoughtful than sending me a text or an e-mail. 🙂
I take pictures of random things/view when I’m bored. But sometimes, what I do as a result of boredom, becomes something that I like. Ironic. 🙂
Aside from being God’s instrument in spreading the Good News, I also dream of pioneering a non-profit organization where people could help kids from my country go to school for free or help poor families in their health care assistance. Too ambitious but I pray that God will allow this to happen. 🙂
I may have many dreams in life, but I only have one desire. It’s God. 🙂 I desire to glorify Him, thank Him, worship Him, love Him, and all those things that makes Him smile. It’s okay to dream of many things as long as you know what inspires you to do those things. I encourage you to stop desiring the weak and shallow sands of carnal pleasures. Make your desire strong enough. Build it in the strongest foundation which is desiring God. 🙂
ABOUT THE BLOG: WHAT TO EXPECT
I’ll be consistent about telling the truth for my life is not about me anymore. I might write sometimes about experiences, but I will make sure it will always be centered on the truth.
I am going to tackle about:
- Salvation
- Singlehood
- Biblical Womanhood
- Life Lessons
- Love Issues
- Books
- Med School/Hospital Life
- Bible Study
- Honest Musings
- Blog Series
Let God reign your life. Let Him be your only desire. For if you desire only the LORD, you’ll love the things He loves and you’ll hate the things that leads you to eternal destruction.
God bless you, readers! Walk by faith. Walk in the truth.
All glory and honor belongs to God alone. 🙂

Hi Krizz! I love your blog!! Sooo pretty and feminine looking and definitely love your enthusiasm for The Lord too! I’ve been blessed just by reading your “About”! Random question, but where r you originally from? ~ Mel
Hello Mel. 🙂 Thank you. 🙂 I love your blog, too. So honest with your thoughts about your love for Christ. 🙂 I’m from the Philippines. 🙂 God bless you, Mel.
Ahh okay! I thought perhaps you might be from Indonesia hehe (random I know)! Glad I asked because Philippines close to my heart too! We have a sister church in Angeles city.. I went there about 2 years ago on a mission trip- we also have a shelter there called Fresh Hope for girls who have been abused/abandoned and an education program. I plan to go there next year! 🙂
Angeles City, Pampanga? I’m actually here in Pampanga for a vacation, but I’ll be leaving next week. 🙂 Angeles City is just few miles from where I am now. I’m glad to know you have mission trips here in our country. 🙂
Yessssssss!! Wow!!! Who would have thought? At times like these I’m glad we are blogging 🙂 It would be great to meet up with u one day! Our young adults group from our church goes to Philippines EVERY YEAR (July and Jan each year) because of Fresh Hope. Yes, or some people choose to go to India! I just realized, my husband and I are planning to India next July not Philippines.. But the year after will be Philippines. I loved it while there, cried a lot, ate a lot but also had soooo many memorable and life changing moments.
Who would have thought you’re not far from Angeles City!
Really? That’s so nice to know. And yes, I do agree that it would be great to see you someday. I love mission trips too, but lately my class schedule won’t allow me. But as soon as I am free from this or even just on summer breaks, I’d love to join my church for our reach-out activities. 🙂
Hehe. Yes. But only for this week. I’m visiting some relatives here. I hope to visit your sister church there someday. God bless you, Mel. I’m sooo glad to know you here. 🙂
Great to hear Kriz that you want to do it too – it’s all in good timing! Yes, the church is called “I AM” church – that’s all I know and Fresh Hope is right next door to it! Let me know when you visit the place again. I’m happy to meet you here as well! God bless you, Kriz. 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, I will let you know if I’ll go there. God bless you too. 🙂
You sound very dedicated to the love of Jesus Christ, as we all should be! I am impressed with your “bio.” and wish you the best in your medical career! I love looking at mountains 🙂 Loved iced coffee 🙂 but wouldn’t know a Bach classic if it fell on top of me…?? 🙂
All kidding aside, I love the Ephesians 2 passage above! It is in my top “5” best of all-time! 🙂 🙂
It’s good to have you visit and reply to my visit…(does that make sense?). May the Lord bless you in all that you do. Praise and glorify Him first and always, for He has given, and forgiven, much!
Steve Pejay
Thank you so much Steve. 🙂 Haha. I’m kind of old school in everything. That explains my love for Bach. 🙂
Yes. I love that verses, too.
You too, Steve. May the Lord bless you in everything and shine your light to glorify Him. 🙂
God bless you always. Thank you again. 🙂
Nothing wrong with “old school,” in fact, I think I invented it! You have a grand day with your Bach and writing…
Enjoy the weekend and we’ll talk later,
Steve 🙂
I love to follow your blog. I will be reading this on a regular basis. You are so inspiring.
-Julienne
Hello Julienne. 🙂 THank you. I’ll follow you back. It’s nice meeting you here. God bless you. 🙂
This is a wonderful blog! Btw, I don’t think you are a slave of Christ- though I agree that He uses us for His glory and mighty works- but we are more like children to Him as mentioned in the Bible, Galatians 4:7 “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are His child, God has also made you a heir.”
Continue on praising and glorifying this Lord with your talents! God bless you, sister 🙂
– Mary
PS. this is kind of a request, but could you write about your life as a medical student walking with Christ? I’m off to college in less than a year and I’m pretty anxious about it (though I shouldn’t be) and I looove veterinary medicine (which is in the field of medicine) so I would love to hear your story on how it all started, ’til the end! haha I know this is too much, but…. pretty pleaaase? Thank you!
The end.
Hello Mary. 🙂 I’m glad you saw my blog. 🙂 I do agree that we are children of God, in fact I have blog entries for that. 🙂 But I love the word slave (although I don’t like that word before. :)) It started when I read John MacArthur’s book entitled ‘Slave’. It’s a very good book and I recommend it for you to read. What I mean of being a slave is that, I am dead to myself. I am no longer the owner of my life because Christ bought me with a price. I belong to Him and I am His possession. 🙂 With me being a slave, the privilege of being God’s child is also there. Slaves to Sons. We are simultaneously sons and slaves and the two realities are not mutually exclusive even if the metaphors are different. Forever we will be part of His family. Forever we will be in His glorious servitude (Revelation 22:3). 🙂 That’s why I love that word although many would not understand that. 🙂
Glory to God alone for everything. 🙂 I have nothing to take pride on what I have. All of it is for Him and Him alone. 🙂 Thank you, sister.
Sure. 🙂 I will try. I’ll inform you if I already made one. It’s my pleasure to enlighten you this way. God bless you, sister. 🙂 Thank u again. 🙂
Lovely.
Thank you. God bless you. 🙂
I came across your blog today! Haha it’s nice to read about Filipino girl who loves Jesus, writing, and coffees just like me! More power! 🙂
