A Letter From A Woman Who Stopped Waiting

Dear you,

You’ve always been taught to wait.

But what are you really waiting for? A moment? A person?

I hope you realize that the more you wait for that person to show up in the train station, the more you’ll think that you’re meant to stay and never move.

Know when to give up and let go.

Take that ride on the train and stop acting like you’re meant to be stuck in just one place. Don’t keep your hopes up like GOD owes you something. Your life has begun a long time ago so never stop living.

No one will come to pick you up there.

Let him catch up if he wants, but never settle. Don’t slow down just because you’re afraid to travel alone.

You already have Christ and He should be your everything.

Whether you’ll walk this life alone or not, know how to be truly satisfied. Never let other people dictate the way your life should go. Only GOD knows how to manage your life best, so keep your hopes on Him and Him alone – and not on someone that you’ve been longing to exist.

DON’T WAIT ANYMORE. It’s time to move.

It’s time to consider that maybe you’re meant to walk alone. Consider things but do not hope much on things that will not last forever.

Your hope should be fixed on what matters most and it’s not your shallow desires and the plans that the people around you are expecting from you.

You’ve been found already – by the GOD who went down on earth to save you.

So don’t live your life like you’re still waiting to be rescued.

It’s not worth it, and never will be.

The LORD delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. – Psalm 147:11

For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth. –  Psalm 71:5

From the woman who stopped waiting for the wrong things,

It’s my blog’s 3rd anniversary. 🙂 Thank you for being a part of this blog’s journey. 🙂

Sharing to you one of my favorite songs. 🙂

“I will glory in my Redeemer
My life He bought, my love He owns
I have no longings for another
I’m satisfied in Him alone”

If our waiting isn’t on God and His faithfulness then we missed why we wait. He never wants us to wait on a person. Our trust is in Him and what He has promised.
I like what you said about always moving. We should always keep moving and at the same time keeping our eyes on Him!
